News: Matthew Bielby joins Powell Williams as Senior Surveyor

We are delighted to welcome experienced building surveyor Matthew Bielby, who joins our Chester team, as a Senior Building Surveyor.

Matthew joins from Faithful+Gould, after qualifying at Cushman & Wakefield.

Martin Hunt, lead partner in the Chester office, said:
“With a particular focus on project work, asset enhancement and dilapidations advice, Matthew’s experience showcases that he is an exceptionally well-rounded building surveyor, which will be a huge boost to the team, and a real asset to our clients nationwide.”

In his role, Matthew will use his extensive knowledge of contract administration, dilapidations, defect diagnosis and planned maintenance advice, across a diverse range of property types including industrial warehouses, shopping centres and multi-occupied office & residential buildings, both modern and historic.

Matthew said:
“Originally from Shropshire, I wanted to move nearer to “home”. Powell Williams offers me great variety in both the work I’ll be undertaking for industry-leading clients, over a wide variety of property types and sectors.
