News: Powell Williams advises on 76,700 sq.ft parcel depot construction in Bolton for Hermes Parcelnet Ltd

Powell Williams has been appointed by Hermes as tenant’s representative on a new build facility developed by Panattoni, at Wingates Industrial Estate, Bolton Green, an established logistics and light industrial location.

Pre-let on a 15 year lease, the unit comprises 68,000 sq.ft of warehouse space together with 8,700 sq.ft of office space, tailored to Hermes’ specification. The scheme, located one mile from Junction 6 of the M61, marks Hermes’ intent to expand with buildings that closer align to their on-site operational requirements.

The project should be complete by early summer 2021 and is expected to achieve BREEAM “Very Good” certification, utilising elements such as low energy fixtures and charging points for electric vehicles.
