What sparks my working fire?
The people I work with and the clients we support. Whether it is seeing a successful acquisition instruction be completed, a dilapidations settlement reached, a planned maintenance strategy be implemented or a project reach completion, the life of a Chartered Building Surveyor is far reaching. I enjoy the “I was part of that” feeling and the sense of satisfaction once it is achieved. In order to do this, the people, both consultant and client side are at the core of this, we have a great team around us and work for some fabulous clients. I enjoy meeting new people and making tangible connections to develop relationships that add value to the work we do.
What else do I want to disclose about myself?
I love colourful socks, golf, squash and all things Bradford City. I’m also a keen runner, much less so these days with family life and two young children, but I ran the Leeds/Liverpool canal and the Hadrian’s Wall path for charity… I’m always up for a challenge or a round of golf – let’s talk!
