After 8 years of planning, work has started on the construction of two new build warehouse / industrial units at Garrick Road Industrial Estate to provide c.32,000 sq.ft of lettable space, plus additional parking, on under-used areas of the site. Powell Williams LLP is providing project management, employer’s agent and Principal Designer services.
This prime North West London location has good access to Central London, the North Circular and the M1, so the addtion of these units provides a further boost to the success of this popular estate.
In keeping with ESG demands for sustainable developments, the units will have ‘A’ rated EPC’s; ‘Very Good’ BREEAM ratings and will be served by electric vehicle charging facilities and cycle storage.
As part of this project, there have been environmental enhancements including knotweed removal, asbestos removal and there will be new landscaping to protect nearby residential areas from excessive occupational noise.
