What sparks my working fire?
It has to be dilapidations for me! It pretty much covers all aspects of building surveying with the legal, inspection and defect analysis elements followed by the best part, the negotiations! Nothing is more satisfying than coming up with a strategy for your client and reaching a positive outcome for them. Assisting our client with managing the works is an added bonus and getting to the see the property brought back to its original condition and then re-let is extremely rewarding. Then the process can start all over again in 5/10 years time!
What else do I want to disclose about myself?
I have a young son so most of my free time is spent keeping him entertained with frequent visits to the park which I’m sure will shortly be turning to soft play/petting zoos/trampoline parks over the next few years. Where time allows, I enjoy attempting to keep fit by running, infrequently attending spin classes and playing 5-a-side football to a poor standard. I am also a big football fan, supporting my local hometown team, Rushden & Diamonds and attending games when I can, as well as being a sofa/plastic Liveprool fan.
