We acted as lead consultant and led the team during the inspection and preparation of pre-acquisition reports for our client, who looked to acquire the premises under a sale and leaseback arrangement.
Post-purchase, as project managers, we reconfigured the internal retail and office accommodation under an agreement to lease, including installation of lifts and escalators, removal of internal floor slabs forming lightwells and created a shell prior to tenant’s fittout.
At street level the retail unit was split into three. Prior to the sale of the premises, we conducted a feasibility study and planning applications were submitted for change of use of the upper parts to residential and leisure facilities.
We were involved with the building for over 10 years during which time we repositioned the building’s offering, maximising value to the client.
