The Japanese word ‘kaizen’, meaning change for the better or continuous improvement, resonated with me during my studies, and to this day drives me to think ‘how can this be improved?’. I also enjoy new challenges and get a great deal of fulfilment out of seeing the outcome of my work.
Luckily Excel has infinite possibilities and I continue to find new ways to harness it’s capabilities to drive efficiencies within the practice.
I have worked at Powell Williams for all of my professional career, joining as a fresh faced 18 year old, straight out of school having completed my A-Levels. Time and the South Wales rain has weathered me, but I still enjoy working for Powell Williams as much now, as I did back then!
I enjoy my football, although family life has reduced the time for playing and watching somewhat. I have a love/hate relationship with DIY and general home improvements. I was brought up learning how to undertake most DIY tasks by my Dad, skills that I am now enjoying passing onto my children, albeit with more PPE!
