Summary

This shopping centre comprised of two multi-storey car parks, five department stores and over 100 retail units. We advised the client during the due diligence process and prepared fire reinstatement cost assessment for the development. Post completion, we prepared a planned preventative maintenance programme for the development, co-ordinating M&E and structural engineers.

Result

Our report enabled the client to assess necessary expenditure under the service charge provisions, which had been lacking for a number of years prior to purchase. Our findings also enabled the client to focus only on those fundamental areas of repair due to the proposed extension and alteration to the centre as part of the proposed improvements within the client’s business plan for the site.
